It has come to our attention that Manchester United FLOP has finally signed a new contract at Old Trafford, following discussions with Ten Hag for a long time. There will be a threefold increase in his salary.

Manchester United is currently engaged in negotiations with Kobbie Mainoo for an updated contract that acknowledges his integral role within the first team, as per reports. Despite being just 18 years old, Mainoo has impressed under the management of Erik ten Hag this season, displaying a level of maturity and skill beyond his years.

While Mainoo inked a contract extension in February 2023, tying him to Old Trafford until 2027, talks have commenced for a revised deal reflecting his outstanding performances during the 2023/24 campaign. Both the club and Mainoo’s representatives are reportedly calm about the situation, with Mainoo prioritizing his on-field performance as the season progresses. Moreover, Mainoo has already activated various performance-related bonuses in his existing contract.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Mainoo thrives alongside experienced defensive midfielder Casemiro, enabling him to take up more advanced positions on the field. Having made 18 senior appearances for United this season, Mainoo recently expressed gratitude towards manager Erik ten Hag for providing him with opportunities to transition from the youth setup to the first team, emphasizing the coach’s relentless drive for improvement as a catalyst for his development.

With his promising performances, Mainoo has been touted for a potential spot in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2024, with upcoming internationals against Belgium and Brazil presenting an opportunity for selection. However, Ghana has also expressed interest in securing Mainoo’s allegiance, acknowledging him as a remarkable talent they are keen to integrate into their national team setup. Randy Abbey, a member of the Ghana FA’s executive council, highlighted the association’s intention to monitor and attract talents like Mainoo for their national teams, underscoring his importance both domestically and abroad.
