“I Love Sir Jim Ratcliffe project at Manchester United and I will like to be part of it but on only one Condition- Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is set to become the manager of Man U
Many people are unhappy with Erik ten Hag’s second season as manager of Manchester United.
There is no clear picture for the Dutch coach because Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the club’s new partial owner, is not sure that he is the right person to lead United back to the top of English football.
Because of this uncertainty, a number of top managers, including Zinedine Zidane, have been linked with the Old Trafford hot set.
The famous French player hasn’t had a job since 2021, when he left Real Madrid.
Zidane was in charge of the club he played for twice. From 2016 to 2018, he won the Champions League three years in a row. In 2019, he came back for a second time and led Real Madrid to the league title.
Zidane was back in Madrid this weekend for a heroes game against Porto. Before the game, he talked about why he quit his job almost three years ago.
Cidane told Marca, “I know football and I know what a club like Madrid needs.”
“I know that when you don’t win, you have to leave, but here something very important has been forgotten: everything I have built day-to-day with the players and the 150 people who work with and around the team has been forgotten.”
The former France star listed three things that a club must have in order to be constantly great. He made it sound like he wouldn’t take the United job until those things were guaranteed.
“I was born to win, and this is where I came to win trophies. But beyond this are people, feelings, and life.”
“And I get the sense that these things haven’t been valued and that people haven’t realised that this is also how a great club stays healthy.”
It’s even been said that I should be ashamed of it. Today, a coach at a big club only stays there for two seasons at most.
People to people connections are necessary for it to last longer; they are more important than money, fame, and everything else.
