I said it. FIFA has finally confirmed it. He is actually better than Jude Bellingham and Musiala and they have finally confirmed it. Kobbie Mainoo ranked one of the best wonderkid in football, along side Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala with Man United target close behind.

Kobbie Mainoo has earned recognition in the NXGN 2024 ranking, which highlights the 50 most promising young talents in football, with a Manchester United target closely ranked to the midfielder.

At just 18 years old, Mainoo has shone for United this season, establishing himself as a crucial figure in Erik ten Hag’s midfield at Old Trafford.

Having started in 20 games for The Reds this season, Mainoo’s impressive performances earned him a call-up to the England squad. He could potentially make his debut for Gareth Southgate’s team this weekend against Brazil.

Mainoo’s breakthrough this season has earned him acknowledgment as one of the standout talents in the sport, as reflected in GOAL’s annual NXGN ratings, which highlight the top 50 young players worldwide. Previous winners of this accolade include Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho.

In this year’s rankings, Mainoo has been positioned as the 7th best player born on or after January 1, 2005, with Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal claiming the top spot.

Several players, including Endrick, Warren Zaire-Emery, and Mathys Tel, rank higher than Mainoo on the list.

Interestingly, a player linked with a potential move to Old Trafford closely trails the United midfielder in the rankings.

Roony Bardghji, representing FC Copenhagen, sits at 13th place on the list. The talented forward notably scored against United in the Champions League earlier this season and has garnered attention from clubs across Europe.

With United reportedly among the interested parties, a transfer for the 18-year-old could materialize at the end of the season, particularly after comments from FC Copenhagen’s sporting director, Peter Christiansen, indicating Bardghji’s strong positioning for a summer move.
