Manchester United Manager Erik ten Hag has identified ‘dream job’ if he gets sacked by Manchester United: Reports
Erik ten Hag, the boss of Manchester United, is said to want to join Bayern Munich if the Americans fire him.
The Manchester team is having a bad season. They are currently sixth in the Premier League, nine points behind Aston Villa in fourth place. Ten Hag’s team also lost in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. However, they are now in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
A German journalist named Christian Falk said that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the rest of the team aren’t sure that the Dutch teacher is the right person for the job (via SPORTbible). It is possible for Ten Hag to take over as manager of the Bavarian team since Thomas Tuchel is leaving at the end of the season.
The former manager of Ajax has already been in charge of Bayern Munich II. From 2013 to 2015, he was in charge of the team for 72 games in all competitions.
Ten Hag became manager of Manchester United in the summer of 2022 and has been in charge for 102 games in all competitions. In those ties, he’s won 63 and lost 28.
The 54-year-old scored one goal and helped Manchester United win the Carabao Cup in 2022–23. In the semi-finals of the FA Cup on April 20, Manchester United will play Coventry. If they win, he will have won the trophy. Ten Hag’s team is definitely the favourites going into that match.
A young player for Manchester United wants to play for Real Madrid one day – Reports
It is said that Alejandro Garnacho, a winger for Manchester United, would love to play for Real Madrid one day. TyC Sports says the Argentine doesn’t want to move just yet, but The Real Champs says he sees himself playing for Real Madrid later in his career.
This season, Garnacho has proven himself to be a starter for Erik ten Hag. In the 2023–24 season, he has played in 38 games across all categories and scored seven goals and set up four others.
At this point, it also doesn’t look like Real Madrid are very interested in signing the 19-year-old. But if this deal goes through, it will be a big step forward for Garnacho’s future.
The Red Devils are still having a tough time, but the Spanish giants are on top of La Liga and getting ready to play Manchester City in the Champions League quarterfinals.
