VERY SAD AND Heart breaking news has been announced about Erling Haaland this morning on Sky Sports đź’” during international break training

Fears were raised over the Manchester City striker’s fitness after film showed him limping badly after training on Tuesday. Pep Guardiola had sent Haaland to Norway, advising City’s players to be cautious when approaching their friendly games this week, given the more intense competitive games on the horizon when they return to Manchester.

Norway’s team doctor, Ola Sand, was quoted as downplaying any concerns about Haaland, and the striker himself has now confirmed there is no injury.

Speaking to the press prior of the friendly, Haaland said TV2: “I’m feeling fine. I did not abandon the training. I do not know who wrote that. I trained an entire training session. I feel good and am prepared to play the contest.” Manager Stale Solbakken has stated that Haaland will start the game, barring any injuries.

Haaland was only answering questions regarding Norway, as instructed by the Norwegian FA, but he did give a polite response when comparing City teammate Kevin De Bruyne to compatriot and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, stating that he enjoyed playing with both.

Haaland also revealed City manager Guardiola’s parting joke, in which his boss urged the City squad not to get injured during the break. “[He said] ‘if one of you comes back not fresh, I will come after you,’ and smiled,” the attacker said.
