Jurgen Klopp has broken his silence about the decision of the video assistant referee (VAR) to not award Liverpool a penalty. Can’t believe that they are believing we have finally robbed them again 😳😭😭

The Belgian soccer player was surprisingly let off the hook after his boot made contact with his opponent’s chest in the opposing team’s penalty area during the second half.

Expressing his dismay, the German commentator exclaimed to Sky Sports, “It’s a clear penalty for anyone who understands football worldwide.”

Continuing his critique, the 56-year-old remarked, “His foot was in the perfect position to strike the ball, but even if he missed, it would have been a dangerous foul.”

Despite the incident being reviewed, VAR chose not to intervene or request the on-field referee to reassess the situation.

Jurgen Klopp’s assessment of Doku’s challenge on Mac Allister was spot on, highlighting the mental gymnastics being performed by Sky Sports pundits to justify the decision.

Let’s be honest here – it was undeniably a penalty. Had the roles been reversed, the call would still be the same.

Despite the blatant injustice, our manager exhibited remarkable composure in the face of blatant daylight robbery.

Nevertheless, we must move forward, currently second in the standings behind Arsenal by goal difference, with ample opportunity left in the season to compete for the title.
