Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Bruno Guimaraes, a Newcastle United midfielder.
Previously, the Brazilian international revealed that he dislikes playing versus City because his team feels like “children” playing against 15 players every time they meet them.
However, the 26-year-old has expressed his respect for Ilkay Gundogan, claiming to have liked the German during his time at Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester City is interested in signing £100 million-rated Bruno Guimaraes.
Since joining Eddie Howe’s side in 2022, he has established himself as one of the top midfielders in the Premier League and throughout Europe.
Guimaraes signed a contract extension with Newcastle in October of last year, keeping him with the club until 2028.
However, Football Transfers has learned that Manchester City are interested in signing Bruno Guimaraes as they plan to strengthen their midfield in the summer.

Furthermore, it has been reported that Pep Guardiola is a “big fan” of the former Lyon specialist.
According to the source, the Rio de Janeiro-born midfielder wants to leave Newcastle at the conclusion of the season and join Real Madrid or Barcelona.
However, such actions are seen to be improbable at this stage.
Newcastle, on the other hand, is said to be open to hearing proposals from both Spanish giants, although other teams, such as Manchester City, would be required to pay a £100 million fee to cover his release clause.
Paris Saint-Germain has also been mentioned as a potential suitor, while a move to Liverpool or Chelsea is considered doubtful in Guimaraes’ situation.
