Coming live from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United’s Amad Diallo has made a heartfelt plea to be released from the “gilded prison” of Old Trafford. The disillusioned star is growing restless in his role at the club, and is desperate for a fresh start. He said ” I came here cause I love United and I knew i had to patient for my time, I went on loan to several club i performed well i know but here in old Trafford it looks like my time is never coming under him (Erik ten Hag) and the best option is to leave. I became a footballer to play football not a a bench warmer”. This is very bad this guy has all the talent, Erik ten hag is not just the one for Manchester United. Stars are turning to big time flop under his management. This is a big loss to man utd๐Ÿ™€๐Ÿ™€๐Ÿ™€

Amad Diallo has made a bold move by scrubbing all Manchester United-related content from his social media accounts, adding to the challenges facing Erik ten Hag.

Despite high hopes for Diallo this season, he has mostly been sidelined at Old Trafford. His impressive loan spell at Sunderland, where he scored 14 goals in the Championship, raised expectations for his performance in the 2023/24 season.

Speculation about Diallo’s future increased over the summer, with multiple clubs interested in signing him. However, before deciding on a loan move, head coach Erik ten Hag wanted to assess the 21-year-old’s readiness during pre-season.

Unfortunately, Diallo suffered a significant injury, disrupting these plans and keeping him out until the new year. Despite interest in January, Ten Hag decided to keep Diallo, possibly due to his issues with Jadon Sancho and Antony’s underwhelming performances. But the emergence of Alejandro Garnacho limited Diallo’s playing time to just 63 minutes.

Diallo seems frustrated with his lack of chances on the field, evident from his recent actions on social media, such as deleting Manchester United-related posts and changing his bio to “tout cela finira…” (meaning “this will all end”).

This comes after Diallo was left out of Ten Hag’s squad against Fulham, where Omari Forson unexpectedly started. Diallo hasn’t played in United’s last two Premier League matches, with his last appearance being a short 17-minute cameo against Nottingham Forest.

With Ten Hag’s public clashes with Jadon Sancho and Antony’s struggles, Diallo’s unhappiness presents another challenge for the Dutch coach on the right flank. It also raises questions about Ten Hag’s ability to manage the ongoing issues at Manchester United.
