The Saudi Pro League sides preparing offers of over £100 million to sign Manchester City’s best player.
Football Insider reports that Saudi Pro League teams are interested in acquiring Kevin de Bruyne, a playmaker for Manchester City, during the forthcoming summer transfer season.
Wolfsburg of the Bundesliga sent De Bruyne to the Cityzens in 2015 for a rumoured £54 million transfer price. The Belgian midfielder has since been a key member of Pep Guardiola’s team. With 369 appearances for Manchester City, the 32-year-old has 98 goals and 165 assists.
Five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, a FIFA Club World Cup, and a UEFA Champions League have all been won by Kevin de Bruyne. In the previous season, he was also designated the team’s captain after Ilkay Gundogan left on a free transfer.
The Belgian has emerged as a prominent transfer target for Saudi Arabian teams as a result of his stellar performances for City. According to the previously mentioned rumour, Saudi Pro League teams are prepared to shell out more than £100 million to acquire De Bruyne during the next summer transfer window.
Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez joined the Middle-Eastern League from the English winners last season. Mahrez reportedly paid £35 million to join Al-Ahli, while Laporte reportedly paid £21 million to join Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.

The defender for Manchester City, Kyle Walker, has ties to Arsenal’s fierce rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, hence he doesn’t want Arsenal to win the Premier League.

With 61 points from 27 games, the Gunners are presently two points behind leaders Liverpool (63) and one point ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City (62).
