The Saudi Pro League sides preparing offers of over £100 million to sign Chelsea’s best player in a stunning move this summer

Despite reports linking him with a move to Saudi Arabia during the forthcoming summer transfer window, Raheem Sterling remains dedicated to Chelsea, according to football.london.

The 29-year-old was claimed to have received a lot of interest from the Saudi Pro League last summer, but he turned down the opportunity to relocate to the Middle East after a disappointing first season at Chelsea. Sterling nonetheless concluded the 2022/23 season as Chelsea’s joint best scorer in all competitions, alongside Kai Havertz, with nine goals.

Sterling has played 2,668 minutes for the Blues this season, scoring eight goals and assisting six times. The winger, who formerly played for Manchester City and Liverpool, continues to suffer criticism from Chelsea fans.

As the 2024 summer transfer window approaches, there is supposed to be renewed interest from Saudi Arabia, but Sterling has no intention of leaving Chelsea, according to football.london. The Jamaican-born England international, who has 82 caps for the Three Lions, remains dedicated to the Blues’ long-term plans and is under contract with the club until 2027.

Only Cole Palmer (12) and Nicolas Jackson (11) have scored more goals for Chelsea this season. Despite this, the winger has been booed by Chelsea fans on multiple occasions when he exits the pitch, which confuses Mauricio Pochettino.

“Someone told me [that Sterling was booed against Leeds United last week], but I didn’t hear it,” Pochettino remarked at a press conference on Friday. “I’ve just been here nine months, and I don’t understand why that happens.
