I always watch his games—Musiala says that he looks up to him in sports.
The player for Bayern Munich, Jamal Musiala, has said that Lionel Messi of Inter Miami is his football hero.

The Argentine player Messi nominated Musiala for the 2023 Kopa Trophy, and Musiala said he was honoured to have been chosen by him.

Remember that Musiala came in second place, behind Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid. The winner was chosen by a group of former Ballon d’Or winners.

Every year on the same day as the Ballon d’Or, the Kopa Trophy is given to the best U-21 player in the world.

Musiala recently talked to reporter Phillip Kessler and told him (All About Argentina X):

“I thought that was a great honour.” As a child, Messi was always someone I looked up to.

“I always thought his games were great and watched them.”
