Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has finally spoken out about the possibility of returning to Chelsea this summer

German news sources say that Thomas Tuchel would be open to a surprise return to Chelsea this summer.
The club has already said that Tuchel will be going at the end of the season, having been in charge for less than two full seasons.
Chelsea, on the other hand, needs to decide what to do with Mauricio Pochettino’s future after fans called for him to be fired during last Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Brentford.
SportBild says that Tuchel wants to go back to the Premier League after he leaves Bayern, and the 50-year-old is keeping an eye on what’s going on at a number of teams.
According to the story, Tuchel had considered Manchester United as a possible destination, but now he thinks Erik ten Hag will stay in charge for another season.
They say Tuchel would be willing to come back to Chelsea this summer if the club’s co-owner, Todd Boehly, was willing to forget about the problems they had before, which caused him to leave Stamford Bridge in September 2022.
It is thought that Tuchel became angry when Boehly joined the team. In fact, the German manager called his relationship with Chelsea’s new owners “intense” just a few months before he was fired.
When asked about leaving Chelsea a year ago, Tuchel said it “still hurt” to not be a part of the team.
Tuchel said, “It was a shock for all of us.”
“We felt like we were in the right place at the right time to build, do big things, and stay longer.” There were close ties between us and the staff. In some ways, not seeing these people every day still hurts.
“This job is very important to me; I love it.” As far as funny places go, a changing room is the best. That’s what I miss the most.
“We formed a very strong bond because of the times; we began during COVID, then Brexit, and then the change of ownership.” When we trained, we were a strong group. It was like being with family.
