“He isn’t the right man for arsenal, he should leave immediately” Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta have named four-man shortlist to replace Gabriel Jesus this summer. This isn’t the best news for arsenal fans.

Since joining Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022, Gabriel Jesus has faced challenges meeting Mikel Arteta’s expectations as a reliable goal scorer. Persistent knee problems have kept the Brazil international sidelined since January, despite a brief appearance on the bench in Arsenal’s recent 4-1 victory over Newcastle United.

While the win brought the Gunners closer to Premier League leaders Liverpool, Jesus’ limited contribution highlights the team’s requirement for offensive reinforcements. With only four league goals this season, Jesus aims for a comeback under the careful supervision of Arsenal’s medical staff. Due to his fitness concerns, the club is exploring the possibility of signing a new striker in the upcoming transfer window.

According to reports from the Daily Mail, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has compiled a shortlist of potential targets, including Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen, Joshua Zirkzee, and Viktor Gyokeres. Toney, who recently returned from an eight-month ban for breaching FA betting rules, has impressed with four goals in seven games for Brentford. Osimhen, despite Napoli’s recent struggles, has contributed eight goals in 14 Serie A appearances.

Zirkzee, a rising star at Bologna and formerly of Bayern Munich, possesses the physical attributes to thrive in English football. Sporting CP’s Gyokeres, who joined the Portuguese club from Coventry City last summer, has made an immediate impact with an impressive goal-scoring record.

In addition to strengthening their striking options, Arsenal may also seek reinforcements in midfield and on the wing. As they prepare to face Sheffield United on Monday night, the Gunners are aware of the need to bolster their squad for top-level competition.
