Football boss Pep Guardiola has said that he wants to lead a national team before he retires.

Guardiola is signed to the Premier League until 2025, but he hasn’t ruled out another deal.

He has been tied to jobs with Brazil, England, and the US in the past. He is 53 years old now.

Now he’s said it: he wants to be in charge of a big event.

Guardiola told ESPN Brasil that the only thing left for him to do was build a national team.

“I’d like to coach a national team for the World Cup or the European Championship.” That sounds good to me.

He was then asked which country he would like to coach in.

“I don’t know who would want me!” he responded. Like a club, the national team has to want you to work for them.
