Reports suggest that Tijjani Reijnders, a midfielder for AC Milan, has emerged as Erik ten Hag’s prime target ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. With Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the new co-owner of Manchester United, exerting influence, the club is undergoing significant internal changes.

The 25-year-old Dutch international departed AZ Alkmaar for AC Milan in a summer deal worth over sixteen million pounds. Primarily deployed as a defensive midfielder this season, Reijnders has occasionally featured as an attacking midfielder. Across 33 appearances for AC Milan in all competitions this season, he has contributed two goals and three assists.
Given the impending retirement or uncertain futures of players like Christian Eriksen, Sofyan Amrabat, and Casemiro, Reijnders is deemed crucial to Ten Hag’s plans.
