Manchester City lost points at home to Chelsea because Erling Haaland let his feelings get the best of him. The striker seemed to push a cameraman away soon after the game was over.

According to Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea is currently ninth in the Premier League table. Just before halftime, Raheem Sterling scored to put the visitors ahead. It looked like Chelsea would come away with a shocking win.

But Rodri once again showed how valuable he is to Pep Guardiola and City by scoring an important equaliser with seven minutes left in the game.

In a strange turn of events, Haaland wasted three great chances to score in the tense 1-1 draw. This came after Arsenal and Liverpool, two teams competing for the title, both won earlier on Saturday.

In the 78th minute, the Norwegian had his worst miss when he got away from Levi Colwill’s tag and headed high and wide of Dorde Petrovic’s goal from almost a yard away.

This season, Haaland has scored 16 goals, breaking the all-time Premier League record for most goals scored in a single season. However, the ex-Borussia Dortmund player didn’t seem to be hitting this weekend.

And everyone could see how angry the Norway player was when one reporter got too close to him right after the game.

After this game, City is now four points behind Liverpool in the league, but Guardiola’s winners have a game in hand over their rivals.

Nine shots were taken by Haaland against Chelsea. That’s the most he’s had in a game this season without scoring.

Daniel Sturridge, a former City and Chelsea forward, defended Haaland in the Sky Sports studio when he talked about his game, saying that players sometimes have “days where nothing goes right.”

“Of course he’s going to look over his game when he gets home,” Sturridge said. “What could I have done better?” he will ask.

“A player at his level who goes out onto the pitch expecting to score goals will feel bad about himself and think, “I could have been the one who won the game for the team today!”
