Kevin De Bruyne showed off his amazing sense against Burnley. Fans of Manchester City think “it’s over” for Liverpool.
The first half ends with Man City ahead 2-0 over Burnley, thanks to two quick goals from Julian Alvarez.
His header in the 16th minute gave his team the first goal. De Bruyne then scored a magical goal to make it 2-0.
From a free kick, the Belgian playmaker made a beautiful pass to Alvarez in the 22nd minute. Alvarez scored without any trouble.
Fans of Man City loved De Bruyne’s pass and think the title race is “over” now that the star player is back to full health.
That’s true even though Chelsea are behind league winners Liverpool.

If Man City wins tonight, they will have 46 points. Liverpool, on the other hand, has 48 points before their game against Chelsea.
Last weekend, De Bruyne came back from injury to help City beat Huddersfield in the FA Cup. This past Saturday, he had a great return to Premier League play.
Newcastle United was ahead 2-1 at St. James’ Park when the 32-year-old came off the bench with 20 minutes left. In his five-minute appearance, he scored a great goal to tie the game and then set up City’s winner in injury time with a risky pass.
The shot from De Bruyne went through the legs of defender Fabian Schar and into the bottom corner of the goal. A reporter asked him after the game if that was on purpose.
