Premier league manager has been Sacked this evening in Shocking season and Jose Mourinho has replaced him

The Manchester United icon is also open to the concept of ‘The Special One’ managing Newcastle and England, but acknowledges that none of this is likely to happen.

Mourinho left Roma after two and a half years with the Italian club, having won only eight of 20 Serie A games this season.

However, it does not appear like he will be out of job for long, as the 60-year-old is apparently in talks with Napoli, and he has also been associated with Saudi Pro League clubs and international management.

Mourinho has managed many of Europe’s top clubs, including Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea stands out as the only club he has returned to, having won three Premier League titles, the FA Cup, and three League Cups, and Ferdinand believes it would be a blockbuster if he returned to Stamford Bridge for a third time, which is improbable.

To Chelsea? Mourinho? “No chance,” the former United and England defender remarked on the Vibe with Five podcast.

‘These folks, these Americans [Chelsea’s owners], don’t back down like that. They are not sacrificing talent or class by hiring a previous manager.

‘To be honest, I would love to see Jose back there. Jose, I personally hope you get the job if [Mauricio] Pochettino does not do well. I think they’ll stick with Pochettino.

Aside from the Blues, Ferdinand believes Mourinho could be a suitable fit for either Newcastle or England, stating that he would recruit the Portuguese to lead the Three Lions.

‘If he doesn’t go to Chelsea, where will he go? Newcastle? I’d love to see him there,’ he said.

But Eddie Howe, man, he’s been unbelievable. I wouldn’t want Eddie to leave.

‘I doubt the FA would appoint a Jose Mourinho. Yes, I would.

But I don’t think the FA… They are not going from Gareth Southgate to Mourinho. That’s an extreme divergence in character and demeanour. It is not occurring.

“That’s like going from ready salted to vindaloo, bruv.” It is not occurring.
