“We Have Better Players Than Him, He Is No Longer Needed anymore in the club” Pochettino instructs Chslea owner Todd Boehly to Sell First Team Player for £78m in order to Fund Victor Osimhen Transfer

Without a doubt, Chelsea football club will be keen on reducing their present roster in order to raise finances before the end of the January transfer window.

During the summer transfer window last year, the West London club spent a lot of money on signing several first-team players, including Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, and Nicolas Jackson.

However, as a result of their numerous arrivals last year, Chelsea Football Club is acutely aware of the necessity to shed some marginal players in order to balance the books.

And if reports are to be believed, Premier League club Chelsea are planning to offload experienced custodian Kepa Arrizabalaga on a permanent basis this year.

The 29-year-old Spain international, who joined Chelsea after leaving Athletic Bilbao in 2018, has been in and out of the first-team squad in previous seasons.

The seasoned shot-stopper was heavily involved in Chelsea’s 2022/2023 season, appearing in 39 games across all competitions.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was then loaned out to Real Madrid in the summer, where he has been involved in the ongoing 2023/2024 season, appearing in 17 games across all competitions.

Chelsea Football Club is now following his situation at Real Madrid, and according to Transfer News Live, the Blues are eager to cash in on Kepa Arrizabalaga on a permanent basis.

According to the sources, Chelsea Football Club is very keen in selling Kepa Arrizabalaga this year and has set a £17 million asking price for the experienced custodian.

It is claimed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino does not regard Kepa Arrizabalaga as an essential member of his first-team squad and is open to consider transfer bids for the experienced shot-stopper.

However, it remains to be seen whether any prominent European clubs will be willing to pay the requested £17 million transfer fee in order to capture Kepa Arrizabalaga on a permanent basis from Chelsea football club.
