“I love Manchester United and Dortmund also. I have already apologised to Erik ten Hag after tell him my real problem and he agreed to change it for me. I will play for Manchester United again and I hope everything turns back to normal”-Jadon Sancho “confidently” revealed new favourite position he asked Erik ten Hag to play when he comes back to Old Trafford after scoring amazing goals for Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund’s head coach, Edin Terzic, has opened up about the hurdles Jadon Sancho, currently on loan from Manchester United, is facing and disclosed the player’s new positional preference on the field.
Sancho, 23, has struggled to find his footing since his return to Dortmund on loan during the January transfer window, tallying only one assist and no goals in eight appearances for the German outfit.
Following a public fallout with Erik ten Hag earlier in the season, United decided to loan out the winger, leading to his exclusion from the first-team squad. Despite the opportunity for Sancho to revitalize his career back in Dortmund, he has so far failed to leave a significant mark.
Terzic commented on Sancho’s predicament, noting, “Jadon hasn’t been playing regularly for a while, so he’s lacking rhythm. It’s common for players returning from extended breaks to initially shine when they return to action, but then experience a dip.”
Previously, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, former manager of Manchester United, discussed the challenges Sancho faced during his debut season at Old Trafford, highlighting his preference for the left-wing, a position already occupied by Marcus Rashford.
However, Terzic revealed that Sancho now expresses a desire to operate centrally as a number ten. This poses a potential challenge for both Dortmund and United, given the competition for that role within their respective squads.
The coach further explained, “[Sancho] has expressed with confidence that his preferred position is number ten. While we acknowledge its versatility, Julian Brandt and Marco Reus have excelled in that role.”
