Completed 112 passes with 95% accuracy: Today was simply dominated by one Man City star.
Manchester City defeated Huddersfield Town 5-0 in the FA Cup to go to the fourth round of the competition, and it was yet another outstanding performance by teenager Rico Lewis.
At the Etihad Stadium, Pep Guardiola’s side easily defeated the Championship side.
The Terriers got off to a good start, but they couldn’t keep City out for long.
Phil Foden broke the deadlock, and Julian Alvarez added a second minutes later.
Oscar Bobb’s cross was deflected in the second half, before Foden scored a great second goal with a fine finish from the edge of the box.
Jeremy Doku added the cherry on top, with City fans happy to see Kevin De Bruyne provide the assists.

Rico Lewis’ stats from the win over Huddersfield Town are incredible.
Lewis was always expected to start today after missing the Premier League match against Sheffield United last weekend.
The teenager started in midfield alongside Mateo Kovacic, but was switched to right-back after Manuel Akanji was injured.
Lewis was great no matter where he was on the pitch.
The 19-year-old displayed maturity beyond his years and made excellent use of the ball when he had it. According to Sofascore data, Lewis concluded the game with the second-most touches (131), trailing only Ruben Dias (167).
Lewis’ passing was excellent today; he attempted 118 passes and completed 112, for a 95% completion percentage.
Lewis was genuinely a threat with his passing at times, which was impressive. He had the most ‘important’ passes of any player in today’s game, with four.
Of course, he was crucial in City’s second goal, getting a touch on Matheus Nunes’ cross before Alvarez turned it in.
Lewis is a phenomenal artist.
After Huddersfield made a promising start to the game, this was ultimately a walk in the park for City.
Take nothing away from Lewis’ performance, which continues to astound City despite his youth.
It’s hard to believe he’s only 19 and can still dominate games like this.
The most impressive thing about Lewis today was that he had to change positions due to Akanji’s injury, but he handled it flawlessly. He just kept paying and demanding the ball at every opportunity.
It’s terrifying to think about how good he’ll be in a few years.
