Former Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane is set to become the manager of this Premier League club
Zinedine Zidane has been out of the management game since leaving Real Madrid for the second time in 2021, but the Frenchman could make a comeback soon.
‘Zizou’ has been linked to a number of high-level positions in recent years, but has remained on sabbatical, biding his time and recharging his batteries.
Meanwhile, he has been linked to Juventus, Manchester United, France, and possibly Real Madrid.
After two years away from the sidelines, Zidane has hinted at a possible comeback to coaching.
In an interview with ‘GQ,’ the football icon remarked of feeling “refreshed” after being “disconnected” for two years.
France with Zidane?
“I’ve said many times that when you play for France then become a coach, it’s logical that you think about it, but now is not the time,” Zidane said in a statement.
It may not be the right time for a national team role, but after a two-year hiatus, it may be time to get back in the game. Zidane has spoken about the need for a break and the necessity to rest in general.
“When I got home, my mind was always on work.” “In this job, everything comes at you from all sides,” Zidane explained.
“All of the information overwhelms you, and you are responsible for making all of the decisions.” It completely consumes your energies.
“I need to take a break now and then, and I’ve done it twice.” A coach is in charge of 23 players at all times.
“Right now, I’m just enjoying life.” If you step back, anything is conceivable. My life is usually moving fast, but today I feel rejuvenated.”
As a father, there is no time to relax.
Zidane also discussed how difficult it was for him to rest as a professional player with two young children.
