“We are not selling him off this season I believe in him, I don’t want to make Kelvin De Bruyne and Mo Salah mistake again- Chelsea Manager Todd Boehly has instructed Pochettino not to sell 22 yrs Chelsea FLOP
Pat Nevin does not want Chelsea to sell the 22-year-old and repeat Kevin De Bruyne’s blunder.
Pat Nevin is hoping that Chelsea will be patient with one of their players.
Chelsea formerly had Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah on their books, two of the top Premier League players, but did not keep them for long.
And, speaking on London Is Blue, Pat Nevin has asked his former club to be more patient with one of their current talents than they have been with De Bruyne and Salah in the past.
De Bruyne was injured for the first half of the season, but Salah has been on fire this season. The Egyptian has 14 Premier League goals in 20 appearances.
Pat Nevin is optimistic about Mykhailo Mudryk.
Nevin does not want Chelsea to repeat their mistake with De Bruyne with Mykhailo Mudryk, despite having high hopes for the young Ukrainian.
“I have great hopes for Mudryk,” the Chelsea legend remarked of Mudryk. Remember, Arsenal and other teams were interested in him. Remember, we did have De Bruyne and Mo Salah. It didn’t work for them. It is not uncommon for some players to take a little longer than others.”
Mykhailo Mudryk may have a promising future.
To suggest Mudryk’s time at Chelsea has not always gone as planned would be an understatement. At times, the 22-year-old has battled greatly.
ADDITIONAL CHELSEA STORIES
Mudryk, for example, failed to score a single goal in blue after joining from Shakhtar Donetsk last season.
He has improved this season, scoring four goals in all competitions, including one against Arsenal, and have the talent to become a top winger in the future.
At times, his pace can be downright terrifying. If Mudryk can start combining it with goals, he might be a useful wide man for Chelsea in the future. In contrast to De Bruyne, they should not give up on the Ukraine international so easily.
