“I don’t like to talk about Manchester City but i must say this, the way Manchester City is treating my country man is not right”- Real Madrid Star Jude Bellingham reveals his £45M City countryman is very angry and frustrated with Pep Guardiola Not Phil Foden, Not Kelvin Phillips

It is said that Juventus and Manchester City have started talking about loaning Kalvin Phillips.

The defender was linked with a move away from Manchester United during the summer transfer window, but he chose to stay and try to make Pep Guardiola’s team.

But the manager recently said that he has trouble picturing the Englishman in his dream City team. This has made Phillips’ January departure look more likely, especially since he said his goal was to play regular football before the Euros.

The January transfer window is almost open, and already one club has taken the first step to try to sign the England player.

Juventus starts to talk about a Phillips loan

A new story from The Times says that Juventus wants to sign Phillips on loan because Paul Pogba is facing a four-year ban for testing positive for a banned substance and Nicolo Fagioli is suspended until the end of the season for breaking betting rules.

The story also says Phillips “wants to leave City in the January transfer window so he can play regular first-team football and improve his chances of being picked for the England team that goes to the European Championship finals in the summer.”

Phillips joined Manchester City from Leeds United in 2022 for £45 million, but he has only played 31 times in all competitions before this weekend’s Premier League match against Sheffield United.

As a result of starting just two games this season, it’s easy to see why the midfielder would want to leave City in January. He may be more likely to get regular playing time at a good club like Juventus than at City.
