Three England players were’scouted’ to change their national team after Southgate rejected them. With less than six months until Euro 2024, England manager Gareth Southgate already knows the majority of his team, which has many Premier League players considering their futures on the international pitch.

Gareth Southgate is unlikely to call up the talented combination of Anthony Gordon, Harvey Barnes, and Tino Livramento from Newcastle for Euro 2024, therefore it looks likely that England will lose them to Scotland.

Before announcing his final 23-man selection for the tournament in Germany—where England has been drawn into Group C and will play Serbia, Denmark, and Slovenia—Southgate will name just one more squad. March will include friendlies against Belgium and Brazil.

Regarding Anderson, the 21-year-old midfielder, he was a young player for Scotland. However, he did not feel prepared to commit his career to Clarke’s winning team, therefore in September he left the senior group after just one training session.
