Heartbreaking news has been announced as Pochettino has given Chelsea owner the List of Nine(9) players he wants to terminate Thier Contract this January after less than 12 months in the Club
ESPN: After less than a year, Chelsea will approve the departure of a new hire.
Today’s ESPN reports state that Chelsea is prepared to approve the exit of one of their current players, who was only signed in January of last year—less than a year ago.
Since the new owners took over, the team has been adding players left, right, and centre. They have managed to spend about £1 billion on new players in three transfer windows so far, and the next one is about to start, so they might spend even more!
UNIQUE! Chelsea is planning to sign two new wingers in January!
However, in order to maintain that, they must also sell players, and according to a report from ESPN today, they are prepared to do so.
They assert that in order to help finance its January transfer ambitions, Chelsea is prepared to approve the exit of a number of players, including Ian Maatsen, Noni Madueke, and Trevoh Chalobah.
If Madueke leaves, it seems like a loan move would be in order.
According to the article, Graham Potter, Pochettino’s predecessor as Chelsea’s permanent manager, made a strong effort to recruit Madueke. The 21-year-old signed a seven-year deal with an additional year’s option, so if a good offer comes up, he might be permitted to go on loan.
