VERY GOODNEWS has been announced this Morning for Jeremy Doku injury after undergoing test yesterday after being substituted against Totheham 😊
Man City’s Doku, Stones, Nunes, and De Bruyne are all hurt or suspended.
Before their Premier League game at Villa Park on Wednesday night, Pep Guardiola will need to check on Jeremy Doku, a winger for Belgium.
There is a chance that Pep Guardiola will be without five Manchester City players for their Premier League game against Aston Villa.
Kevin De Bruyne, a playmaker for Belgium, is on the mend after hurting his leg early in the season. Rodri and Jack Grealish, who is playing against his old team, are suspended and can’t play. City isn’t sure about Matheus Nunes (muscular) and Jeremy Doku (unspecified), who they signed this summer.
After getting hurt during the draw with Tottenham, Doku had to leave the game. He will need to be checked on. Good news: John Stones is healthy enough to start after missing a lot of games this season because of a hip problem.
Back centre City hasn’t used Stones as a replacement in either of their last two Premier League games. We have updated our list of sick players and when they are expected to be able to play again as we speak.
Jeremy Doku’s injury is unknown
A possible return date is December 6 at home against Aston Villa.
What Guardiola said: “We have practise this afternoon.” I’ll talk to the doctors and take care of things.”
John Stones hurt his hip.
When they come back: December 6 vs. Aston Villa (A)
“He was ready for the last game,” Guardiola said. He’s also ready now.
Injury to Matheus Nunes: Muscular
Possible return date: December 10 at Luton Town (A).
“The midfielder is not fit for Portugal’s two games,” the Portugal FA said in a statement. After tests, Matheus Nunes was ruled clinically unfit for the games against Liechtenstein and Iceland.
Kevin De Bruyne hurt his hamstring.
The expected date of return is January 2024.
“If he [De Bruyne] said January, it’s January,” Guardiola said. I’d love to keep him for the rest of the season. If he says that, though, then everyone has a happy new year.
