I’m angry Erling Haaland speaks out about the controversial choice made by the referee. The Norwegian striker was very angry with referee Simon Hooper because he gave the ball back to Manchester City even though Jack Grealish was already through on goal.
Even though it was late in the game, Erling Haaland was caught but still managed to stay on his feet and pass the ball to the English winger.
But even though it looked like he had the upper hand, the judge blew his whistle and told them to bring the ball back for a free kick.
Haaland and the other City players circled the referee to protest the call, which they had every right to do.
Following the end of the game, the Norwegian forward yelled at Hooper as he stomped off the pitch.
After the game, the 23-year-old went on X to say what he thought about the choice.
