Manchester City Player has been spotted leaving Ethihad Stadium this evening after fighting with Pep Guardiola for not playing him against Totheham

It looks like Juventus is getting close to signing Kalvin Phillips on loan, according to a new story from Italy.

The English player hasn’t done well at Manchester City since moving there from Leeds United, where he played as a child, for a claimed £42.5 million in the summer of 2022. But it looks like his poor job at the club might be coming to an end soon.

This summer, several Premier League clubs were said to be interested in Phillips. However, the player chose to stay at the Etihad Stadium and compete for a spot in Pep Guardiola’s successful team.

In the first few months of the 2023–24 season, Phillips has only played eight times for Chelsea, even though the Premier League winners have been having injury problems all season.

However, talks about a January loan move to Juventus have apparently “entered the hot phase,” as reported by the Italian news outlet Calcio Mercato and picked up by Sports Witness.

According to the story, the Serie A team wants to sign Kalvin Phillips for the rest of the 2023–24 season. He will then be sent back to Manchester City in the summer before the 2024–25 season.

A fee to buy Phillips on a permanent basis when his loan is up could be talked about, but it doesn’t look like Juventus is most interested in that right now since they need to find a replacement for suspended Nicolo Fagioli.

Kalvin Phillips has made it clear that he wants to play more before the summer to make sure Gareth Southgate keeps him in his plans for the 2024 European Championships in Germany.

Recently, Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, seemed to say that the Premier League winners would not get in the way of Kalvin Phillips moving in the next few months.

Pep Guardiola said, “If he wants to leave, then he should leave.” “If they don’t follow through on the deal, he stays.” He is acting terribly. I don’t want to say nice things about people who don’t play matches, but this is one of the nicest ones I’ve ever seen.

“Others may be having issues in the locker room—it’s the exact opposite.”
