VERY SAD Pep Guardiola News has been announced this Morning, following FA 115 FA Charges and he will be tipped of his Job as Manager
According to Guillem Balague, Pep Guardiola will finish his two-year contract at Manchester City and then retire from club management.
The Catalan has been in charge of Manchester City since 2016 and will have been in control for nine seasons by the end of his current contract. Prior to that, he was in charge of Bayern Munich and Barcelona, taking only one year off since taking over at the Nou Camp in 2008.
Guardiola has had enormous success, revolutionising the game, and his talents would be in high demand if he were available. Balague, on the other hand, believes the Catalan will say “that’s it” and walk away from day-to-day managerial demands by 2025.
He entered managing at an early age and will be 54 when his contract with City expires. Guardiola, according to Balague, will then move into international management, which is significantly less demanding. The Spaniard has stated that England is his most likely destination.
The Catalan has worked with numerous current Three Lions players, including Phil Foden, John Stones, and Kyle Walker. On CBS Sports, Balague stated, “He’s dealt with the players, he’s improved the players.”
Balague’s remark supports what Guardiola has previously stated, however he may have stayed at City for longer than he and many others imagined, with the team still at the pinnacle of their powers. He guided them to a treble last season, but he has stated a desire to gain international recognition.
“The next step will be a national team, if the opportunity presents itself,” Guardiola previously stated. “After seven years (at Manchester City), I need to take a break.” I need to take a step back and study, learn from other instructors, and then possibly go that path. I’d like to be a coach at a European Championship, a Copa America, or a World Cup.”
Gareth Southgate is expected to resign as England manager after this summer’s European Championships, which will be his fourth appearance in an international competition. The timelines do not coincide, but the FA would be quite interested if Guardiola were available.

If the Dutch position becomes available, the Catalan is also likely to be related. Guardiola’s ideology is based on the teachings of Holland legend Johan Cruyff, under whom he played at Barcelona. The Netherlands are another country that has only won one event in their history.
