“He is the most irritating player to watch the way he handles the ball very slow irritate me watching him- Pundit says he can’t stand watching 28-year-old Man City player these days

Michael Bridges has claimed that Manchester City player Jack Grealish irritates him every time he watches him play.

On The Optus Sport Football Podcast, the pundit expressed his thoughts on why it must be difficult for a striker to play alongside Grealish.

Pep Guardiola, on the other hand, stated that the 28-year-old has been in terrific form recently.

Watching Jack Grealish “irritates the hell” out of Michael Bridges.
Many have noted the contrast between the two wingers since Jeremy Doku’s arrival to the Etihad Stadium this summer.

While Grealish keeps the ball better than others, Doku is the polar opposite, establishing himself as one of Europe’s most lethal dribblers this season.

Michael Bridges has revealed why he is now frustrated by Manchester City forward Jack Grealish.

“I’m not taking anything away from Grealish,” Bridges said on The Optus Sport Football Podcast, “but Jack Grealish irritates the hell out of me these days because all he ever seems to do is go back and give the ball back to the left-back.”

“I can imagine myself as a striker in the box,” he added. Is he really going to cross it? Oh crap, he’s switching back to left-back. Is he going to step over it? He’s heading into Rodri,’ he says. With Doku, you know he’ll generate opportunities for you, he’ll take on defenders left and right, and you’ve got to be ready for the opportunity inside the box.”

All Jack Grealish has to do is pick his moments.
Finally, what Michael Bridges may not have realised while watching Jack Grealish is his role in this Manchester City team.

Last season, it appeared as if both wingers, Grealish and Bernardo Silva, were charged with providing control, technical security, and a ferocious defensive workrate.

The aggressive midfield duo of Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan was responsible for the directness and responsibility to create chances.

In this campaign, however, Jeremy Doku appears to have been granted carte blanche to lead the Sky Blues’ attacks on his own.

As a result, Jack Grealish chooses his opportunities to move inside and take a more aggressive approach moving forward.

The Englishman’s outstanding performance in the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford in October exemplifies his ability to adapt to the system as well as the personnel requirements.

If Grealish was given the freedom to create havoc that Doku appears to have, he, too, would appear to be the most influential attacker on the pitch.
