Totheham Huspor Manager Ange Postecoglou broke down in tears as another Key player goes off last night against Aston villa and the are Having Manchester City Next, a very sad moment for Him and the fans as the injury seems to be a career ending injury

Rodrigo Bentancur’s fitness has caused Ange Postecoglou concern since he was substituted with an ankle injury in Tottenham’s loss to Aston Villa.

On Sunday in North London, Villa overcame a deficit to defeat Spurs for the third consecutive time. Pau Torres and Ollie Watkins scored the game-winning goals, following Giovani Lo Celso’s initial effort.

The outcome places Spurs in fifth place in the standings, four points behind league leaders Manchester City, who will visit the Etihad Stadium on the following Sunday.

And they enter the major match mired in a severe injury crisis that only intensified during the Villa loss, with Bentancur being substituted for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg after 32 minutes due to a poor tackle by Matty Cash.

After having only recently recovered from an ACL injury, it was the midfielder’s first start for his club since February, and Postecoglou did not appear optimistic that the Uruguayan would recover quickly.

He likely has an ankle injury. “That was not an excellent tackle,” the manager stated at the press conference following the game.

“I believe he established a solid foundation for us simply because of the way he began the game,” I thought. Such a creative performer is he.

We certainly did not require another injury. We remain uncertain as to the full extent of our disappointment at losing him.

Among the players presently sidelined are James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, and Richarlison, which has nearly reached a breaking point in the Spurs treatment room.

As a result, Postecoglou named only eight substitutes, two of whom were goalkeepers; the manager remarked that this “pretty much summed up” their injury crisis.

He continued, “We have eight [injuries], Bentancur has nine; today we had two suspensions; and our squad size is only twenty-five.” You perform the calculations, and the result is as follows.

Additionally, Ashley Phillips passed away during the week. The present circumstances are what they are, but we will manage to overcome them.

“It could take a little while, but we’ll get through it, and I have no doubt that we’ll be a very good football team by the time we come out the other side, so long as we maintain the same determination and level of play that we displayed today.”
