When Norway’s striker Erling Haaland hurt his ankle while on international service, it was a huge blow to Manchester City.
After coming off the bench in a friendly game that his team won 2-0, the 23-year-old went down with just a few minutes left to play.
Ola Sand, the doctor for the Norwegian national team, said it sounded like the Norwegian had hurt the same ankle that he has hurt before.
Sand told Vg, “He got a little twist in his ankle, which makes him a little weak.” Right away it hurts a lot, but it goes away quickly. Then we’ll check on him again tomorrow.”
Haaland has picked up where he left off last season with his dominant play. He has scored 17 goals in 18 games across all divisions so far this season.
If Haaland doesn’t play, it could hurt City’s chances of winning the triple from last season.
