Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta finally reveals what Moises Caicedo said to him after he was found embracing the player at full time against Chelsea in the weekend

Arsenal had to face Moises Caicedo on Saturday, marking a year since the Gunners signed him.

Arsenal failed with a £60 million bid to sign Caicedo in January of this year after Brighton refused to sell.

A £70 million bid was also rejected, and Brighton’s stance paid off when they sold Caicedo to Chelsea for a whopping £115 million.

Some speculated that Arsenal would return for Caicedo in the summer, but they instead signed Declan Rice.

Arsenal manager Arteta, on the other hand, still admires Caicedo, and the two shared a moment after the final whistle on Saturday.

Arteta hugged Caicedo as the two laughed together, no doubt joking about Arsenal’s January bid and his Saturday battles with the Gunners midfield.
