Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter is set to become the manager of one of the biggest Premier League clubs

Former Premier League manager Sir Jim Ratcliffe may consider hiring a former Premier League manager. Former Chelsea and Brighton manager Graham Potter is said to be a possible replacement for Erik ten Hag if Sir Jim Ratcliffe decides to split ways with him.

The Red Devils may soon have Ratcliffe on board as he wants to purchase 25% of the club, and he may well aim to make substantial changes at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag hasn’t been particularly impressive as Manchester United manager, and the Sun reports that Ratcliffe may seek to Potter as a replacement.

According to the story, senior figures close to Ratcliffe also wanted Potter at Nice, but it remains to be seen whether United will take that risk.

Potter was tremendously impressive at Brighton, but he faltered at Chelsea, and it is difficult to see him winning another big six post anytime soon.

If United were to get away of Ten Hag, there might be better possibilities available to offer the team a true overhaul.
