“He will end up costing Arsenal the title, but unfortunately Arteta does not want to drop him to the bench”- Man Utd legend Rio Ferdinand slams £30M Arsenal star after a very disappoint display against Chelsea yesterday evening

Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United player, criticised the £30M Arsenal star following his disappointing performance against Chelsea this evening, saying, “He will ultimately cost Arsenal the title, but sadly Arteta does not want to drop him to the bench.”

Rio Ferdinand criticises Arsenal’s £30 million star after a subpar performance against Chelsea this evening: “He will ultimately cost Arsenal the title, but unfortunately Arteta does not want to drop him to the bench.”

After his performance against Chelsea, Arsenal’s £30 million star received criticism from Ferdinand.

After his performance against Chelsea on Saturday, David Raya has come under fire from Arsenal player Rio Ferdinand, who claims that Raya will prevent the Gunners from winning the title this year.

He marked his X after witnessing the Spaniard receive a lob from Mykhaylo Mudryk for the Blues’ second goal at Stamford Bridge.

Mikel Arteta would have loved a better start for David Raya’s Arsenal career. The fact that the Gunners sought a deal and ultimately decided to accept a loan move with a buy option that may cost Arsenal £30 million surprised a lot of people.

After the initial interval, Raya overtook Aaron Ramsdale to claim the top spot. Sadly, he has never done so again in support of that conclusion.

The error made by David Raya hurts Arsenal.

Raya has performed some amazing saves. He hasn’t always struck me as convincing, though. Additionally, if Arteta was considering bringing Ramsdale back, Saturday’s performance might have persuaded him otherwise.

When Mudryk’s likely cross went in at the far post for Chelsea’s second goal, Raya was in a dangerous situation.

Richard Keys criticised the 28-year-old on social media, asserting that Arsenal cannot win the Premier League with him.

It must be on Aaron Ramsdale’s mind.
Soon after, Raya almost received a punishment for yet another error. On the edge of his own box, he delivered the ball to Cole Palmer. In order to prevent the forward from scoring again, he had to rush over.

Ramsdale’s footwork might not be as good as Raya’s. But you have to question whether the distinction between the two was sufficient to justify the effort.

According to Arteta, Raya undoubtedly contributed something that Ramsdale needed. However, the manager of the Gunners took an unwarranted risk based on the information available, and it has terribly backfired.
