Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka is injured ahead of Sunday’s match against Manchester City – live on Sky Sports.
Bukayo Saka, who has started the last 87 Premier League games for Arsenal, is questionable for Sunday’s Premier League match against Man City after hobbling off against Lens with an injury.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is concerned about forward Bukayo Saka’s injury ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match against Manchester City, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Saka hobbled off Tuesday night’s Champions League Group B match between Arsenal and Lens while holding his leg.

The 22-year-old was replaced by Fabio Vieira in the 34th minute after assisting Gabriel Jesus on the game’s opening goal, making him the first player in Europe’s top five divisions to record five goals and five assists in a single season.

When queried by Norway’s TV 2 Sport about the injury, Arteta responded, “It doesn’t look good.”

Arteta continued, “He attempted a backheel in the first half.” He experienced some sensations. It was robust. Because he was uncomfortable, we had to remove him.

“We have no knowledge beyond that. It was severe enough to prevent him from playing the remainder of the game, which is cause for concern.

When asked if Saka would be available to face City, Arteta responded, “I have no idea. I’m not sure”.
