Very Sad Wan-Bissaka news has been announced this evening by Manchester United after Brighton match
LIVE Manchester United transfer news Wan-Bissaka’s injury timetable has been revealed, with the Manchester United player’set’ to leave in January.
Manchester United will be without Aaron Wan-Bissaka for several weeks after the defender suffered an injury late in Saturday’s defeat to Brighton.
The full-back joins a list of nine players who have been sidelined due to injuries. Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho and Antony are both out, putting additional burden on the squad.
Erik ten Hag also has a Champions League opener to prepare for ahead of the trip to Bayern Munich. United will hope to put Saturday’s disappointing 3-1 defeat to Brighton behind them.
Ten Hag was without a number of first-team players for the game on Saturday, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is now set for several weeks on the sidelines due to injury. He joined the likes of Sofyan Amrabat, Mason Mount and Raphael Varane in watching from the sidelines.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are reportedly keeping an eye on Jadon Sancho and could make a loan approach in January while it is claimed Borussia Dortmund are not interested in a return move for the winger.
Fenerbahce made a last-gasp attempt to sign Scott McTominay this summer.
That’s according to reports from Takvim – via Sport Witness – on the midfielder.
McTominay, 26, started for United in their defeat vs Brighton.
However, speculation over his future at Old Trafford was at fever pitch throughout the transfer window and Turkish clubs had until Friday night to strike-up their business. Fenerbahce and any other potential suitors were, though, unable to launch a successful bid.
