“He is one of the best player i have ever seen or played against, i wish Liverpool could sign him’- Mo Salah say £55m Man City player is his role model
Mohamed Salah, a player for Liverpool, has said that Kevin De Bruyne, a midfielder for Manchester City, is smart.
The two have played against each other many times for their teams, which have fought for Premier League wins against each other in the past.
Now, though, both Liverpool and City are off to good starts, so Salah has chosen one City player he likes for a particular reason.
Salah talked about who he thinks is the smartest player in the Premier League in a recent video posted on the official Sky Sports Premier League Twitter account. In the video, a number of Premier League players chose their ideal top-flight player based on who they thought had the best feet, upper body, and head.
“De Bruyne,” he said, “because he’s very smart.”
Wolfsburg sold the player to City for £55m in the summer transfer window of 2015.
Since then, the Belgian has played 358 times for the Citizens in all categories. He has scored 96 goals, set up 153 goals, and won many trophies, including five Premier League titles.
Salah isn’t the only person outside of City to praise De Bruyne’s brains. In May, Thierry Henry said that the midfielder has “the most clever brain” he’s ever seen in a player.
With that in mind and the fact that the 32-year-old has been involved in so many goals during his time at City, it shows how smart he is at putting himself in positions where he can score or help score goals.
