VERY SAD John Stones has been announced this Afternoon by Fabrizo Romano

Latest news and return dates for Man City’s injured players John Stones, Jack Grealish, and Kevin De Bruyne.

e have a perfect record since the beginning of the season, but three of their most crucial players are still injured.

In Pep Guardiola’s strongest lineup, John Stones, Jack Grealish, and Kevin De Bruyne are all essential players, but they are all injured right now. Grealish might return this weekend, while the center-back is close to returning. The Belgian, though, faces a different situation.

Mr. Stones
Due to a hip injury, the defender played the entire game as City lost the Community Shield but has not yet appeared for City in the Premier League.

Stones won’t return until after this international break, as Pep Guardiola confirmed last month, and assistant manager Juanma Lillo reaffirmed the center-back’s progress in early September.

“[Stones] is more or less there, too,” he remarked. We’re all right, all OK. It is not conclusive.

Grealish, Jack
The midfielder withdrew from the England squad after missing Our City’s victory over Fulham prior to the international break due to a thigh injury.

Before leaving England, Lillo remarked, “It’s going to be difficult for Jack to make it, but I’m not a doctor, and it will be difficult for me to explain.”

With West Ham coming up next in the league, City will be hoping Grealish recovers.

De Bruyne, Kevin
The important midfielder suffered a catastrophic hamstring injury after just 23 minutes of City’s season-opening match against Burnley.

It was the first time De Bruyne has played after getting substituted in the Champions League final more than two months prior and being out until at least January.

Last month, Guardiola stated that Kevin was a crucial player. He’s been gone for four or five months; we haven’t lost him for a couple of weeks. He’s 32 years old, and because of how crucial his actions are, the team needs him to be highly physically fit.
