Jack Grealish response when asked if he would rather play with Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi

In the GOAT debate, it was clear that Jack Grealish could not decide between Ronaldo and Messi. Jack Grealish had a hard time picking between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as his favorite player.

Over the past 15 years, football fans have argued the most about who is the better player: Messi or Ronaldo. Sometimes this has gotten old.

During that time, they have won 79 trophies and 12 Ballon d’Ors between them, mostly while playing for rival teams Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Grealish, a winger for Manchester City, took part in a “this or that” challenge on TikTok and said who he thought was the better player.

Grealish was asked a number of questions while wearing his City uniform. He said that he preferred night games to early starts, long-sleeved shirts to short-sleeved ones, and setting up goals for teammates to his own goals.

The 28-year-old then had to answer one of football’s most controversial questions: Ronaldo or Messi?

Grealish held his hands together and scrunched up his face as he thought about what to do. But after a lot of thought, the England player chose Messi over Ronaldo, which might have been the better choice since Ronaldo is a Manchester United legend.

Fans still argue a lot about Ronaldo and Messi on social media, even though both players are in the later stages of their careers and no longer play in Europe.

But Ronaldo thinks that the two no longer have anything against each other.

Ronaldo said at a recent press meeting, “I don’t see things that way. The rivalry is over.”

“It went well, and people liked it. People who like Ronaldo don’t have to dislike Messi, and the same goes for Messi fans. We’ve done well, and we’ve changed sports history. The most important thing is that we are respected all over the world.

“He’s gone his own way, and I’ve gone mine, even though I play outside of Europe.

“From what I’ve seen, he and I have both been doing well. Even though the history goes on, I don’t see the rivalry that way. It had been 15 years, and we had shared the stage many times. I wouldn’t say we’re friends because I’ve never had dinner with him, but we work together and respect each other.”
